The purpose of Zeta Tau Alpha is to intensify friendship, promote happiness among its members, to perform such deeds, and to mold such opinions as will conduce to the building up of a purer and nobler womanhood in the world.
The Eta Iota chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha at Valdosta State University welcomes you to our website! We were founded in Farmville, Virginia at Longwood University in 1898 and since then, Zeta Tau Alpha has represented an unparalleled bond between sisters, a concept we still hold true in our hearts today.
We came to college looking for a home away from home and in Zeta we have found love and a sisterhood that lasts forever. Whether we are planning our annual philanthropies in support of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, participating in intramural sports, attending socials and date functions or just lounging around and acting silly with our sisters, Zetas are constantly living by our open motto, "Seek the Noblest."
